現代語訳
板取村について
○近年困窮に陥り、宿役等を務めることが困難になり、度々嘆願があったため、当戌年から来る寅年まで5年間、1日1人につき2文ずつ積み立てて、3人分の助郷の趣旨で手当を支給する。この年限中は困難な事情を申し立てることなく、宿役等を支障なく務めること。
ただし、助郷勤務を願い出た5人のうち、上記の通り手当を支給するので、残り2人分については郡役所の加勢人足等を派遣するよう取り計らうこと。
右の通り申し伝えること。
3月16日

○この度、銭を集めて他国へ売買する者がいるとの噂を聞いているが、これは心得違いである。今後このような者がいれば、厳しく処罰する。もっとも国境の各所で厳重に取り締まりを行うが、もしそのような心得違いの者がいることを内訴する者がいれば、銭の元を持参して訴え出た者には褒美として銀3枚を与える。各地で油断なく吟味を行い、このことを周知させること。
右の通り申し伝えること。

○この度初めて国許への御暇が許され、すぐに入部されることは大慶である。滞府中、国表は平穏で、家中一同無事に務め、御機嫌よくお過ごしのことと思う。また文武の道を怠らず嗜み、年若い者は特に精進すること。もっとも衣食住をはじめ、諸事において物数寄がましいことをせず、分限に不相応なことがないよう心得、従来申し付けられている通り倹約を厳重に守り、万事慎んで奉公するよう申し渡された。面々このことを心得ること。

Regarding Itatori Village
○In recent years, due to poverty, it has become difficult to fulfill lodging duties, and there have been repeated petitions. Therefore, from this year of the Dog until the coming year of the Tiger, for a period of five years, allowances will be provided at the rate of 2 mon per person per day for three people, following the principle of auxiliary village service (sukegō). During this period, lodging duties must be performed without hindrance and without claiming hardship.
However, among the five people who requested to serve as auxiliary villages, allowances will be provided as stated above, so arrangements should be made to dispatch reinforcement laborers from the district office for the remaining two people.
This shall be communicated as stated.

○Recently, there are rumors that some people are collecting coins and selling them to other provinces, which is a misconduct. Henceforth, if there are such people, they will be strictly punished. Each locality should conduct investigations without negligence and make this matter widely known.
This shall be communicated as stated.

During the stay in Edo, the domain remained peaceful, all retainers served without incident, and the lord was in good spirits. Moreover, in all matters including clothing, food, and housing, one should not engage in extravagant pursuits or anything inappropriate to one's station, and as previously ordered, strict frugality should be observed, conducting oneself with prudence in all service. Everyone should understand this message.
