一三橋定番人共掛り名主共奉申上候例年之通来ル
　十月朔日ゟ市中厳重番被仰出候上ハ右御橋夜番
　之儀も同様相勤候ニ付去十月中御聞済被成下置候
　通夜番中炭蝋燭粥代并番人共増御手当共
　壱ケ月一橋ニ付銭拾六貫六百四拾八文ツヽ三橋分

恐れながら書付を以って願い上げ申します
一、三橋定番人ども関係名主どもが申し上げますのは、例年の通り来る
　十月一日から市中厳重番が仰せ出されました上は、右の御橋夜番
　の儀も同様に相勤めますので、去る十月中に御聞き済み成し下し置かれました
　通り、夜番中の炭・蝋燭・粥代並びに番人ども増加御手当とも
　一ヶ月一橋につき銭十六貫六百四十八文ずつ三橋分

We humbly submit this petition in writing
Item: The head men in charge of the regular guards of the three bridges respectfully state that, as is customary each year, when strict night watch duties in the city are ordered from the first day of the coming tenth month, the night watch duties for the said bridges will also be carried out in the same manner. Therefore, as approved in the past tenth month, for charcoal, candles, rice gruel expenses, and additional allowances for the guards during night watch duties, sixteen kan six hundred and forty-eight mon per bridge per month for the three bridges
