　様子為見届守り方厳重ニ
　行届候町ニは褒美為取遣等閑
　之ものは急度及沙汰候様仕候ハヽ
　行届可申哉ニ付文政度町触之
　文段差略いたし掟書えケ条追加仕
　別紙之通町々え相触名主共えも
　心得方説得可仕と奉存候依之
　右町触申諭書案并去ル寅年之
　町触掟書写とも相添此段奉伺候

現代語訳

様子を見届けるため、守り方を厳重に行き届かせた町には褒美を取らせ遣わし、等閑の者は必ず沙汰に及ぶようにすれば、行き届くであろうかということについて、文政度の町触れの文段を差し略し、掟書へ条項を追加し、別紙の通り町々へ相触れ、名主共へも心得方を説得すべきと存じ奉る。これにより、右の町触れ申し諭し書案並びに去る寅年の町触れ掟書写ともに相添え、この段お伺い申し上げ候。

In order to observe the situation, for towns where strict guard duties are thoroughly implemented, rewards shall be given, and those who are negligent shall certainly be subject to official judgment. If this is done, it should be effective. Regarding this matter, the text of the Bunsei-era town notices has been abbreviated, articles have been added to the regulatory code, and as shown in the separate document, this shall be communicated to all towns, and the nanushi should also be persuaded regarding their duties. Therefore, we respectfully submit this inquiry, attaching both the draft of the aforementioned town notice and admonishment document, along with copies of the town notice regulations from the previous Tiger year.
