之心得并火之元心得方之儀は条目
書付を以触示シ候間木戸番屋表
店は家毎裏家之分は路次口え
張置精々厚相心得無油断相守り
可申旨文政十三寅年触置候処
程経候ニ付心得方相弛ミ等閑之
町々も有之哉ニ相聞不埒之至ニ候
尤大風之節は月番之奉行所より
触出し候とはいへとも市中場広之
儀町役人共心得方ニ寄自然触次
遅延いたし急速ニは難行届哉ニ付
自今以後風烈之節は南は通壱町目

その心得並びに火の元心得方の儀は条目

張り置き、精々厚く相心得、油断無く相守り
申すべき旨、文政十三寅年触れ置き候処、
程経候につき心得方相弛み等閑の
町々も有之やに相聞き、不埒の至りに候。

触れ出し候とはいえども、市中場広の
儀、町役人共心得方に寄り自然触れ次
遅延致し、急速には行き届き難きやにつき、

The guidelines for this understanding and fire prevention measures are outlined in written regulations
that have been posted. For gatehouse guard posts and storefronts,
each house should post them, and for back houses, they should be posted at the entrances to alleys.
Everyone should take utmost care and guard vigilantly without negligence.
This was announced in Bunsei 13, year of the Tiger, but
as time has passed, vigilance has become lax and
some districts have become negligent, which we hear is quite improper.
Although during strong winds the monthly magistrate's office
issues notices, given the vast expanse of the city districts
and depending on the understanding of town officials, notifications may naturally
be delayed and may not reach everywhere promptly.
