一、善光寺より北国道筋、地震にて潰れ候所々：横山残らず潰れ、相之木村潰れの上数十軒焼失、押鐘村・吉田村大半潰れ。越後国関川宿まで宿々村々潰れ。ただし善光寺より関川まで道法十里程の間に候。この道筋の内、吉村と申す処近辺の山抜け、家人共土中に埋もれ、越後高田半潰れ。今町は三月二十四日より四度の地震にて残らず潰れの上、同月二十九日大風大火にて残らず焼失に候。

- Along the Hokuriku road from Zenkoji, places destroyed by earthquake: Yokoyama completely destroyed; Ainoki village destroyed with dozens of houses burned; Oshigane village and Yoshida village mostly destroyed. Villages and post towns destroyed all the way to Sekikawa post town in Echigo province. The distance from Zenkoji to Sekikawa is about 10 ri. Along this route, near a place called Yoshimura, mountains collapsed and residents were buried in the earth. Echigo Takada was half-destroyed. Ima-machi suffered four earthquakes starting from the 24th day of the third month, was completely destroyed, and then on the 29th of the same month was completely burned by strong winds and great fire.
- From Zenkoji to Iiyama is 8 ri. Along this highway, Sansai village, Ishi village, and the remaining villages were half-destroyed. Among the villages, rice fields and farmland suffered water damage from flooding.
