一 同日、大和守直矩様の御嫡子久太郎基知様が叙爵されて和泉守と改められ、
若狭守直明様の嫡子時郎直常様が叙爵されて左兵衛と改められた
一 十二月二十一日、寒中につき御書を以て例の通り御国産の一番
生鱈を献上した
一 同日、寒中の御機嫌伺いの御使者小川藤九郎忠辰が今朝
江戸に着き（去る十日に御国表を出立）、御用番阿部豊後守正武殿へ参上し（御留守居原
平左衛門同道）、御書を差し出した
一 同月二十二日、御用番阿部豊後守正武へ御呼び出しがあり、御使者小川
藤九郎忠辰が参上したところ（御留守居松原善左衛門同道）、御返書を用人を通じて渡された
ただし豊後守殿が直接お渡しになるはずであったが、御用多忙につき取次を通じて
渡された旨を用人が申し聞かせた

One: On the same day, Hisataro Mototomo-sama, the eldest son of Yamato-no-kami Naonori-sama, was granted court rank and renamed Izumi-no-kami, and Jiro Naotsuner-sama, the eldest son of Wakasa-no-kami Naoaki-sama, was granted court rank and renamed Sahyoe.
One: On the 21st day of the 12th month, due to the cold season, through an official letter, first-grade fresh cod, a local product, was presented as customary.
One: On the same day, messenger Ogawa Tokuro Tadatatsu for the winter season inquiry about His Lordship's well-being arrived in Edo this morning (departed from the domain on the 10th of last month) and presented himself to the duty officer Abe Bungo-no-kami Masatake-dono (accompanied by caretaker Hara Heizaemon), submitting the official letter.
One: On the 22nd day of the same month, messenger Ogawa Tokuro Tadatatsu was summoned by the duty officer Abe Bungo-no-kami Masatake, and when he presented himself (accompanied by caretaker Matsubara Zenzaemon), the reply letter was delivered through a retainer.
However, although Bungo-no-kami-dono was supposed to deliver it personally, the retainer explained that due to his many duties, it was delivered through an intermediary.
