「松平兵部大輔は従四位下の諸大夫であったところ、侍従（位階は元の通り）に任命される。口宣等の儀について伝奏衆まで申し入れ、調えるようにするのが適当である。恐れ謹んで申し上げます。

A joint official letter was delivered:

"Matsudaira Hyōbu-dayū, who held the rank of Jushiige (Junior Fourth Rank Lower Grade) as one of the Shōdaibu, is hereby appointed to the position of Jijū (Chamberlain), with his court rank remaining as before. Regarding the matter of the kussen (oral imperial decree) and other ceremonies, it is appropriate to make the necessary arrangements through the Densōshū (court liaison officials). We respectfully and humbly state this.
