一、正月元日の朝、御屋形において年始の御式典が行われた。御座の間において、仙菊様が御太刀目録をご持参され、対面してお祝いの言葉を申し上げ、その後ご一緒に大奥へ入られ、三献の祝いが行われた。
一、同日、年始の祝儀として登城された（直垂をご着用）。御白書院において御太刀目録（御馬代として黄金二十両）をご持参され、お礼を申し上げられた。先代の通り着座し、お相伴を仰せつけられ、呉服を拝領された。
一、同日、帰殿後、御座の間において御家老が太刀目録を持参してお礼を申し上げた。

Enpō 3rd year, Year of the Wood Rabbit (1675)
1. On the morning of New Year's Day, the New Year ceremony was held at the lord's residence. In the audience chamber, Senkiku-sama brought a ceremonial sword and catalog, exchanged New Year's greetings in person, and then together they entered the great inner quarters where a three-cup celebratory ceremony took place.
1. On the same day, he made a formal visit to the castle for New Year's celebrations (wearing court dress called hitatare). At the White Shoin, he presented a ceremonial sword and catalog (along with twenty ryō of gold as horse substitute), offered his respects, was granted seating in accordance with precedent from the previous lord's time, was appointed as a dining companion, and received silk garments as a gift.
1. On the same day, after returning to his residence, the chief retainer presented a sword and catalog in the audience chamber and offered his respects.
