田之儀社中迄依有訴詔為向後若衆

其上被致仕替田候故為其吟味之掟

右寛文年中之比精進頭三十才前後被執行
之然故五十五才迄隔数年中古以来社家次第
依繁栄當時既精進頭及五十才右置文之通
相守之時者纔五ヶ年斗也故老若一同之願亦
有拠歟向後以六十五才以下為若衆従夫以上為
老年若後年精進頭如寛文之時節者仕替田
亦可改其年之通歟外之掟等は可為先定之条

現代語訳
所・月奉行役者が立ち会って、担当替え田の件を決定すべきこと
右の詳細は、今度若い衆と年長者の衆の担当替え田の件について、社中まで訴えがあったことによるものである。今後のために若い衆と年長者を隔年とする掟を定めるものである。また近年、他所への用事を抱えて往来し、その上で担当替え田を行う者がいるため、その吟味のための掟である。

寛文十年八月二十七日 社中
右の寛文年中の頃、精進頭は三十歳前後で執行されていた。そのため五十五歳まで数年を隔てて、昔から社家の序列により繁栄していたが、現在はすでに精進頭が五十歳に及んでいる。右の置文の通りに守る時は、わずか五年ほどである。故に老若同じ願いがあるのももっともである。今後は六十五歳以下を若い衆とし、それ以上を年長者とする。もし後年、精進頭が寛文の時節のようであれば、担当替え田もその年の通りに改めるべきである。他の掟等は先の定めの通りとする。

The details above are due to complaints brought to the shrine community regarding the rotation of rice field assignments between younger and older members. For the future, we establish regulations that younger and older members shall alternate in different years. Also, in recent years, there have been those who travel back and forth on business to other places and then perform rice field rotations, so these regulations are for examining such cases.

Kanbu 10th year, 8th month, 27th day - Shrine Community
During the aforementioned Kanbu period, the shojin-gashira (purification head) was executed around the age of thirty. Therefore, until age fifty-five, with intervals of several years, the shrine families prospered according to their traditional hierarchy, but presently the shojin-gashira already reaches fifty years of age. When following the written instructions above, it would be only about five years. Therefore, it is reasonable that both old and young have the same wishes. Henceforth, those sixty-five and under shall be considered young members, and those above that age shall be considered elders. If in future years the shojin-gashira returns to the conditions of the Kanbu period, the rice field rotations should also be revised according to that year's circumstances. Other regulations shall remain as previously established.
