○The baku resembles
a bear. It has an elephant's
trunk, a rhinoceros's
eyes, a tail like an ox's,
and tiger's
feet. It eats copper, iron, and
bamboo.
It is an animal that
sleeps well.
【Supplement】It is said to eat
all bad
dreams. Therefore
people draw it on
pillows and
name them baku pillows.

Its trunk and tusks are long.

food through its mouth
and drink
water through its trunk. Once every
