なるものの声が聞こえてきた。雷が鳴り、稲妻がしきりに光って、恐ろしいことといったらない。稲妻の光でこれを見ると、八つの頭にそれぞれ二つの角があって、その間には松や榧の木が生い茂っていた。十六の眼は日月の光と変わらず、喉の下にある鱗は夕日に照らされた大海の波と変わらない。床の上に姫がいると見て、これを呑もうとしたけれども、四方に火を焚き回していたので、
