一、同年（文化六年）八月、数年にわたり精を出して相勤め、品々の加役・臨時の勤めも在り、繁多の上、槍術指南の儀も出精し、諸生を宜しく取り立て候につき、席を町奉行の次に仰せ付けられ候事。
一、同七午年（文化七年・1810年）正月、本務が繁多の上、武学寮主役・馬具奉行の兼務ならびに道中往来の締まり方を任されて取り計らうよう仰せ付け置かれ、諸費も在り候由につき、費えの補いとして年々金三両を御借上げなしに下し置かれ、右につき、学館ならびに武学寮出席につき下し置かれ候銀子弐枚は相止められ候事。

一、同年三月、願いの通り本務・兼務ともに御免なされ、会津勝手外様組付きに仰せ付けられ、同月出起ちにて罷り下り候事。

- In the eighth month of the same year (Bunka 6, 1809), having diligently served for a number of years, having undertaken various additional duties [kayaku] and temporary assignments, and being occupied with many matters, and furthermore having applied himself to instructing in the art of spearmanship [sōjutsu] and having effectively cultivated and brought along the students [shosē], he was appointed to a rank [seki] next in precedence to that of the Town Magistrate [machi bugyō].
- In the first month of the seventh year, the Year of the Horse (Bunka 7, 1810), as he was occupied with many primary duties, and had moreover been assigned the concurrent positions of head official of the Military Studies Academy [Bugakuryō shuyaku] and Commissioner of Horse Equipment [Bagu Bugyō], as well as being entrusted with oversight and management of travel and road controls [dōchū ōrai no shimari-kata], and as he was incurring various expenses, he was granted three ryō in gold per year without deduction [go-kariage nashi] as a supplement for expenses. Accordingly, the two silver coins [ginshi nikai] that had previously been granted to him for attending the Academy [Gakkan] and the Military Studies Academy were discontinued.

- In the third month of the same year, in accordance with his petition, he was relieved of both his primary and concurrent duties, was assigned to the Aizu Katte-tozama-gumi [domain's non-hereditary outer retainer unit], and departed [for Aizu] in the same month.
- In the fourth month of the same year, he was placed in the unit of Ichinose Kenmotsu and served as castle guard [o-shiro go-ban].
- In the eleventh month of the same year, he was appointed to return to the post of Inspector [o-metsuke], was stationed on permanent duty in Sagami Province [Sōshū], and was concurrently appointed as Commissioner of Military Equipment [Bugu Bugyō]. His standing [tachiba] in precedence was placed below Suzuki Tange and above Okitsu Chūzaemon.
