- In the 2nd month of the following year, the 15th year of Bunka (1818), the Year of the Tiger, he was appointed to serve as a hired retainer (oyatoi-kin) for outside domain warriors (*tozama-shi*) at Kannonzaki in Sagami Province, and was granted a stipend of three persons' provisions (*san-nin fuchi*).
