1. In the 12th month of the same 3rd year, the Year of the Boar [Kyōwa 3, 1803], his request to change his name to "Hanzō" was granted in accordance with his petition.
1. In the 2nd month of Bunka 4, the Year of the Hare [1807], having been ordered to oversee the administration of the domain school for both civil and military learning (*bunbu no gakuryō*), he was relieved of his responsibilities relating to *waka* poetry activities (*waka shimari*); and in recognition of his diligent service up to that time, he was awarded one bundle of cotton wadding (*wata ichi wa*) as a reward.
In the 3rd month of Bunka 5, the Year of the Dragon [1808], he was appointed to the temporary acting post of Inspector (*ometsuke kashaza yakaku*).
1. In the 11th month of the same year, upon completion of his assigned duties, he was relieved of the temporary acting post of Inspector.

1. In the 7th month of Bunka 6, the Year of the Snake [1809], he was appointed to the temporary acting post of Inspector for the *oitori-gari* (a falconry-style hunting exercise involving driving birds), and turned out with the 2nd unit (*nibantai*).
1. In the 8th month of the same year, it was officially commended that he had performed his duties as temporary acting Inspector with diligence.
1. In the 5th month of Bunka 7, the Year of the Horse [1810], he was formally appointed as Inspector (*ometsuke*).
1. In the 4th month of Bunka 8, the Year of the Sheep [1811], he traveled up to Edo (*kinban*) for his duty rotation, and returned home in the 10th month of the same year.
