現代語訳
出ていない時に茜根一両を水で濃く煎じ、前の糸瓜の汁を等分に混ぜて小児に飲ませれば、疱瘡は極めて軽症になる。
麻油擦法（まゆらほう）
疱瘡がまさに発症しようとする時、手の中の三指に胡麻の油を塗って、小児の頭、額、頂背、腰、両手首、両足首に塗り、眠らせる。疱瘡は極めて軽症になる。
