In addition to these, the accompanying retainers received imperial gifts of varying degrees. The three envoys respectfully received these imperial favors and withdrew.
On the 20th of the same month, the following decree was issued regarding the bestowal of 30,000 yen in currency for circulation within the Ryukyu domain:
To Ryukyu Domain Lord Sho Tai
30,000 yen in currency is hereby granted for circulation within the domain
Ninth month, 20th day of Jinsin year Council of State
On the 22nd of the same month, court caps and ceremonial robes were bestowed upon the three envoys. This day coincided with the Tencho-setsu festival.
