〇去々年過分之水難ニ付無拠半減借米去戌年申付候処何茂右水難故別而
難儀ニ可有之候処無滞致上納甚満足之事ニ候猶又去戌年申付候通万事
倹約之儀不相緩候様致勘弁可相勤候
現代語訳
〇今春やむを得ず半減の御借米を命じたところ、今年は米価が安く、特に一同が困窮することになると大変心配に思われる。来る亥年から御借米を全て免除したいと思われるが、元来非常に財政難の極みの状況であるため、やむを得ず昨年までの通り八歩通りの御借米を命じ、半減については免除される。もちろん諸上納については昨年の通りと心得るべきである。しかしながら一同が困窮に耐えて勤務していることであるから、来る亥年一ヶ年は半減の通り諸事を減少させて継続するよう命じられるので、各々その旨を承知すべきである。以上
ただし来る亥年一ヶ年、持馬を免除されることについては、御役料のある面々は御役料の内三分の一を御借米として命じられること

〇一昨年の甚大な水害により、やむなく半減借米を去る戌年に命じたところ、いずれも右の水害のため特に困窮であったはずのところ、滞りなく上納を行い、甚だ満足なことである。なお去る戌年に命じた通り、万事倹約について気を緩めないよう心がけて勤務すべきである。
