〇先達而御預所ニ而薬種之儀御尋有之候処別紙之通御達有之候得共御預所切ニ而薬種
吟味之事故不相分候別紙ニ有之候御国南条郡山奥大野郡山奥辺御代官所并私領之
内熊膽出し候由有之候得共誰御代官所并誰領分与申儀無之故相分兼申候間此儀も
尚又被致吟味何レゟ之出所与申儀追而御達シ可有之候右ニ付今日改而御領分之方
へも別紙書付之薬種被致吟味少々ツヽも可被指出候尤別紙両薬種ニも限り不申候其外
ニも薬種与有之候ハヽ可被指出候且亦直段等之儀も致吟味可被申聞候勿論此度少々指出候
薬種ニ而も其直段何程与申儀も可申出候依之御帳面へ書付印形可致旨五右衛門殿

諸国出産之薬種取次別紙書付之趣相聞候ニ付弥其国ゟ出候ハヽ此度御用ニ候間
先其品少々ツヽ当地へ可被指出候右薬種之出方出産之地名等委相糺別紙書面
之外にも出産之薬種有之候ハヽ是亦右同様被取計書面之内之品ニ而も若其品
ニハ無之とも出産之地名等相分候ハヽ其訳并薬種等之価等も可被書出候右之趣

伝達することができる。
○先日、御預所において薬種の件についてお尋ねがあった件について、別紙の通り御達しがあったが、御預所限りでは薬種の吟味のことなので分からない。別紙にある当国南条郡山奥、大野郡山奥辺りの御代官所並びに私領の内で熊胆を出しているということがあるが、誰の御代官所並びに誰の領分かということが分からないので判断しかねる。この件についてもなお吟味を行い、どこからの出所かということを追って御達しがあるだろう。これについて今日改めて御領分の方へも別紙書付の薬種を吟味し、少しずつでも提出すること。もちろん別紙の両薬種に限らず、その他にも薬種があれば提出すること。また値段等の件についても吟味して申し聞くこと。もちろん今回少し提出する薬種でも、その値段がいくらかということも申し出ること。これにより御帳面へ書付け印形を行う旨、五右衛門殿が仰せになり、その旨を越前守殿へも申し聞く旨を仰せ渡された。御請書を左に記す。
御請書の覚
諸国産出の薬種取次について別紙書付の趣旨を聞いたので、もしその国から出るなら今回御用なので、まずその品を少しずつ当地へ提出すること。右の薬種の出方、産出地名等を詳しく調べ、別紙書面の外にも産出の薬種があればこれも右同様に取り計らい、書面の内の品でも、もしその品がなくても産出地名等が分かれば、その訳並びに薬種等の価格等も書き出すこと。右の趣旨について越中守殿において仰せ渡されたので申し達す。以上

○近頃、所々で盗賊或いは押し込み体の者がいる場合は、その場で召し捕らえ置き申し出ること。もし手向かいをした場合は、手強く取り扱い、傷を付けたり即死に至ったりしても構わない。右のような者を追い散らし、隠れて便宜を図り、後で聞こえてきた場合は必ず仰せ付けられる。この件は以前にも触れたが、等閑に心得ないよう、それぞれに申し付けること。

○ Regarding the inquiry about medicinal herbs at the deputy territories the other day, although there was notification as written in the attached document, since the examination of medicinal herbs is limited to the deputy territories, it is not clear. According to the attached document, bear bile is produced in the mountainous areas of Nanjō District and Ōno District in this province, as well as in private domains under the jurisdiction of deputy governors, but since it is unclear which deputy governor's territory or whose domain it is, judgment is difficult. This matter will also be further examined, and notification will be given later regarding the source of origin. Regarding this, today the territories under direct control should also examine the medicinal herbs listed in the attached document and submit them little by little. Of course, it is not limited to the two medicinal herbs in the attached document; if there are other medicinal herbs, they should also be submitted. Also, matters regarding prices should be examined and reported. Naturally, even for the medicinal herbs submitted in small quantities this time, the price should be declared. Accordingly, Goemon-dono ordered that entries and seals be made in the official record book, and this matter should also be reported to Echizen-no-kami-dono. Thoroughly investigate the source and production areas of these medicinal herbs, and if there are other medicinal herbs produced besides those in the attached document, handle them in the same manner. Even for items listed in the document, if those specific items are not available but the production areas are known, report the circumstances and the prices of the medicinal herbs. This matter was ordered by Etchū-no-kami-dono, so I hereby communicate it. Above.

To the Four-District Magistrates and Deputy Territory Magistrates
○ Recently, if there are thieves or intruders in various places, they should be captured on the spot and reported. If they resist, they may be dealt with forcefully, and it does not matter if they are wounded or killed instantly. If such persons are scattered and later found to have been hiding conveniently, orders will definitely be given when this comes to light. Although this matter was mentioned before, it should be ordered to each party not to treat it carelessly.
