▢一 松平伊予守殿御領分備前岡山にて道中掃除に御念を入れられ、いつと川に船橋をかけ、河原に茶屋三軒を立て、道筋の屋根の草まで取り、所々に柴垣等を設け、その外道に手桶を出す。上使御馳走のため、もっともな売物を安値にするよう仰せ付けられた由。
▢一 備前と赤穂との境、三石とよけ地と申す所に侍が詰め、往還の出入りを御改帖面に書き留めている由。もっとも海上に遠見もこれ有りの由。

▢One: In the domain of Lord Matsudaira Iyo-no-kami in Bitchū Okayama, great care was taken in cleaning the roads. A boat bridge was constructed over the Itsu River, three teahouses were erected on the riverbank, grass was removed even from the roofs along the roadway, brushwood fences were installed in various places, and water buckets were placed along the road. This was done to entertain the imperial envoy, and it was ordered that goods be sold at reduced prices.
▢One: At the border between Bitchū and Akō, at a place called Mitsuishi and Yoke-chi, samurai are stationed and record the comings and goings on the highway in inspection registers. There are also watchtowers at sea.
