〇一、元禄十六年癸未（1703年）正月二十二日、稲葉丹後守殿より御預けの四ヶ所の留守居役が召し呼ばれ、四十六人の者どもの親類書を認めて上げるようにと仰せ付けられ、追って差し上げ申し候。
〇一、二月四日、荒川丹波守殿、猪子左大夫殿の御両人が上杉弾正殿宅へお越しになり、それから吉良左兵衛殿をお連れになって評定所へ控えられた。

〇 On the 22nd day of the first month of Genroku 16, year of the Water Sheep (1703), the caretaker officials of the four locations under the custody of Lord Inaba Tango-no-kami were summoned and ordered to prepare and submit written records of the relatives of forty-six individuals, which were subsequently submitted.
〇 On the 4th day of the second month, Lords Arakawa Tanba-no-kami and Inoko Sadayū both went to the residence of Lord Uesugi Danjō, and from there escorted Lord Kira Saheiji to wait at the Council of State (Hyōjōsho).

〇 The proclamation was made in the presence of Senior Inspector Lord Sengoku Hōki-no-kami, Town Magistrate Lord Niwa Tōtōmi-no-kami, and Inspector Lord Nagata Kizaemon (1,500 koku). However, six foot-soldier inspectors and seven servant inspectors were also in attendance.
