《題：頭書増補訓蒙図彙（かしらがきぞうほきんもうづゐ）巻之（くはんの）一》
天文（てんぶん）《割書：此部（このぶ）には日月（じつげつ）星辰（せいしん）雨露（うろ）霜雪（さうせつ）のたぐひあり｜日月（じつげつ）星辰（せいしん）は天（てん）の文章（ふんしやう）なれば也 易（ゑきに）曰 仰（あふひで）見（みる）＿二於 天文（てんぶんを）＿一》
【上段】
両儀（りやうぎ）
天地（てんち）開辟（かいひやく）のときかるくして
清（すめ）るはのぼりて天（てん）となりおもく
してにごるはくだりて地（ち）となる
天（てん）を陽（やう）とし地（ち）を陰（ゐん）とす陰（ゐん）
陽（やう）を両儀（りやうぎ）といふなり
○七政（しちせい）とは日月（じつげつ）と五 星（せい）を合（あは）せ
ていふ又は七 曜（よう）ともいふなり
日月五 星（せい）天（てん）の政（まつりこと）をなすなり
木星（もくせい）を歳星（さいせい）といひ火星（くはせい）を熒（けい）
惑（こく）といひ土星（どせい）を鎮星（ちんせい）と云 金（きん）
星（せい）を太白（たいはく）といひ水星（すいせい）を辰星（しんせい）

天文（てんぶん）《割書：この部には日月星辰雨露霜雪の類がある｜日月星辰は天の文章であるから 易に曰く「仰ぎ見る天文を」》
【上段】
両儀（りょうぎ）
天地開闢のとき、軽くて清いものは上昇して天となり、重くて濁ったものは下降して地となる。天を陽とし地を陰とする。陰陽を両儀という。
○七政とは日月と五星を合わせて言う。また七曜ともいう。日月五星が天の政治を行うのである。
木星を歳星といい、火星を熒惑といい、土星を鎮星という。金星を太白といい、水星を辰星という。

The Two Principles
At the time of the creation of heaven and earth, what was light and pure rose up to become heaven, and what was heavy and turbid descended to become earth. Heaven is called yang and earth is called yin. Yin and yang are called the Two Principles.
○The Seven Governors refers to the sun, moon, and five planets combined. They are also called the Seven Luminaries. The sun, moon, and five planets govern the affairs of heaven.
Jupiter is called the Year Star, Mars is called the Confusing Fire, and Saturn is called the Stabilizing Star. Venus is called the Great White, and Mercury is called the Morning Star.
