現代語訳
その様子を見るべしと言った。これによって、小鷹はもはや仕方なく、「それならば仰せに従い申すべし。十分に謀をめぐらして、敵を討ち取りくださいませ」と別れを告げ、涙ながらに津田山を目指して登っていった。禁長は今や心にかかる憂い（雲）もないと大いに喜び、手勢を一つにまとめ、六右衛門が控えている陣へと、真一文字に駆け込んだ。

He said that Kotaka should watch the situation from there. With no other recourse, Kotaka reluctantly replied, "Then I shall obey your command. Please devise your strategies well and strike down the enemy," and, bidding farewell in tears, made his way up toward Tsudayama. Kinchō, now free from all the clouds of worry weighing on his heart, rejoiced greatly, united his forces as one, and charged straight into the encampment where Rokuemon was stationed.
