めしのみならす其夜も都合五度ひ迄
逃たる度毎包を抱ひ親の病気をいた
わりては心を労し地震鳴動する度こと

飯も食べられないだけでなく、その夜も都合五度まで逃げた。逃げる度ごとに包みを抱え、親の病気を気遣っては心を痛め、地震が鳴動する度に「どうしたらよいか」と立ったり座ったりして、少しの間も眠ることもできず、御輿を安置した傍らにある麦畑の中に野宿して、ようやくここに帰ってきても、我が家に入ることはできないまま、今日も終日荷物を背負い風呂敷包みを抱えては逃げることが都合六度。食事をすることはもちろん、平日の菓子や果物も口にすることなく、ようやくここを仮の住まいと定めた。
