一日東叡山の落花を踏て
根岸の藤のおほつかなき徑
伝ひに山吹の清き流にそふて
日くらしの帰るさ石燕子か
画室を訪ふ主人は外に□て
帰杖も程あらしと留主する
童子に喫茶をすゝめられて

ある日、東叡山の落花を踏んで、
根岸の藤の心もとない小道を
辿りながら、山吹の清らかな流れに沿って
日暮れの帰り道に、石燕子の
画室を訪ねた。主人は外出していて
帰りの時刻もしばらく先のようだと、留守番の
童子に茶を勧められて
