毒アリ人ノヱリ或手ニ觸テ毛肌ヲサセバ

口ヨリ絲ヲ吐下ルコトモアリ毛ハ白シ形小
ナレ共其害ヲナスコトハ甚シ

茶梅の枝に群がってつき、
葉を食べる毛虫である。
山茶花の虫も同じである。

　　　　　　　　　　　　　虫で、形は平たい　八月二日

毒があり、人の襟や手に触れて毛が肌を刺せば、
赤く腫れて広がり、痛むことが激しい。八月上旬にあって、
口から糸を吐き下げることもある。毛は白く、形は小さい
けれども、その害をなすことは激しい。

They are poisonous, and if their hairs touch a person's collar or hands and pierce the skin,

the harm they cause is severe.
