立候大キ成名も有之由燃候石降候処手に
取見候得者甚かろく物に当り候得者砕

吹出シ候か又ハゆかほの湯端崩候と申候

立っている。大きなものもあるということである。燃えている石が降る場所で手に取って見ると、非常に軽く、物に当たると砕けてしまう。各所に降っている灰や砂の類は、この焼けた石が砕けたものが風によって吹き散らされたものだということである。
一 浅間山が噴火したことは間違いない。また草津の温泉が噴き出したとか、あるいは湯畑の湯端が崩れたという話もあるが、これは根拠のない噂話だということである。この先のことが非常に心配で、特に取り込んでいるので、詳細を書き付けて提出する。詳しいことは［判読不明］申し上げる。以上
