私共御呼懸被仰付被仰渡候は御鷹野
御川筋御漁事被為遊候御場所において
毎々不埒人御座候に付御漁事御野合
御指障に相成候御趣に付当両郡右等
御場所において不埒不心得者有之候而は甚
奉恐入事に候条右様之御場所稠布御制道
仕候様被仰聞且御手嵜【=先】郡中右等御場処
之義は御郡代様にも平生御見分をも
被為遊置候御趣に付ては勿論私共においては
猶更重々相心懸罷在可申様幷御川筋
且えご等に鴨相付候而は
御立合御場所御手入幷等に相成り候所抔は
尚又厳布御制道仕御都合宜布候様
可奉仕旨夫々奉畏候

現代語訳
申し上げ覚え
私どもがお呼び出しを受け仰せ渡されましたことは、御鷹野や
御川筋での御漁事をなさる御場所において、
度々不埒者がおりまして、御漁事や御野合の
お差し障りになっている御趣旨により、当両郡のそのような
御場所において不埒で不心得な者がいては甚だ
恐れ入ることでございますので、そのような御場所への立ち入り禁止を
厳しく取り締まるよう仰せ聞かされ、また御手前、郡中のそのような御場所の
件については御郡代様におかれても平素から御見分を
なさっておかれる御趣旨により、もちろん私どもにおいては
なおさら重々注意を払って参るべき様、並びに御川筋
またえご等に鴨が付いている場合は
御立ち合いの御場所への御手入れ等になる所などは
なおさら厳重に立ち入り禁止を取り締まり、御都合よろしく
お仕え申すべき旨、それぞれ恐れ入って承知いたします。

Memorandum submitted
We were summoned and told that at the locations used for hawking grounds and
fishing along the river courses,
there have been repeatedly unruly persons, which has caused
interference with the fishing activities and hunting gatherings.
Therefore, if there are unruly and thoughtless persons at such
locations in both our districts, it would be extremely
regrettable, so we were instructed to strictly control access to such locations.
Moreover, regarding such locations in your territory and throughout the district,
since the district magistrate also conducts
regular inspections according to his policy, of course we
must pay even greater attention and remain vigilant. Also, along the river courses
and when ducks gather around reed beds,
especially at locations where official hunting parties gather and preparations are made,
we must exercise even stricter control over access and ensure everything is
conducted to your satisfaction.
