2. Sewers, ditches, refuse pits, wetlands, and others
(A) Lime milk should be poured on earthen floors, and quicklime powder or lime milk should be scattered on sewers, ditches, and wetlands. When there is sewage, the prescribed amount of chemicals should be used in proportion to the volume, following the standards for excrement disinfection.
(B) For refuse pits, lime milk should first be poured in, and the refuse should be incinerated.
(C) For fertilizer storage areas other than latrines and unsanitary parts of stables, lime milk should be sufficiently scattered on their surfaces.
However, when pathogen contamination is recognized, lime milk must be thoroughly mixed in.
