一、鉄砲（の腕前）による勝負の最優秀者（白眉）へ
一、奉書をもって（賞状・通知を）遣わすべき事

濃州公よりお申し遣わしになるべきでしょうか、
修理が参上申すべきでしょうか。

雲州へ首尾よく（話が通れば）

Item: Notification letters (hōsho) are to be sent (to the following):

　　　　　Yamagishi Ukon
　　　　　Honda Chikara
　　　　　Mayama Kurannosuke
　　　　　Wada Hannosuke

Item: To the third-place (finisher), a congratulatory gift (reward) shall be given.
　　Regarding the estimates and the messenger, these should be communicated
　　together in a single communication.

【Lower Section】

Regarding the matter to be reported to the Senior Councilors (Rōjū):
Should it be conveyed by Lord Nōshū,
or should Shuri present himself (in person)?
　　　　　In either case,
if the matter proceeds well with Lord Unshū,
it would be appropriate, and so it seems advisable to inquire.
Regarding the progress of communications with Lord Chūemon as well,
it would be best to make inquiries and proceed smoothly. The above.
