一東叡山にて無作と番所等江入申間敷候尤寺々へも右之通に候御宿坊へ罷越候義は
　可為格別事
一於東叡山末々之もの共迄若病人出来又は怪我人出来候節は目付中へ相達指図
　次第明静院方へ差越可申事
一急火にて無之御定之場所之内出火にて東叡山へ御人数罷出候はゝ吉祥閣前左右へ
　一番手二番手分候て御人数立置可申事馬は勿論下馬札ゟ段々下之方へ立置可申事
　御役人御出之時は下礼仕可罷在事尤横小路道有之処は道を明け可罷在事
一上野へ　御成之節は御先武頭壱騎水之手平士一騎御徒目付壱人御徒弐人目付組御先組
　防之者荒子等召連相詰可申事右之外御留守居壱人相詰可申事
一谷中辺出火　御仏殿へ近見へ火事【「申火事」？】
一御山之内と相見へ申火事
一東叡山へ少間は候得共風烈敷風下と相見得候火事
一東叡山風脇と相見へ候ても御山近き火事
　右之■急火に候間左様可被得相心事此外火事に見合次第可仕事
一於火事場御役人共任指図末々又者に至迄精を出し火を消可申候不届之仕形有之

　候はゝ御吟味之上急度可被　仰付事
　右之趣可相触旨被　仰出候間面々其旨を被存下々に至迄堅可申付候以上
　横物御家中相廻る御触也
一上野御場所近所出火之節　御屋敷中早拍子木打廻二番手御人数相揃候筈に候
　左様相心得懸札之下へ相集候様末々に至迄可申付候
一御出馬被遊候節は鉦打為廻可申候間其節御供之面々末々に至迄御玄冠ゟ小玄冠
　前迄之内相集可申候右之鳴物触無之内は御長屋之内何も支度仕可罷在候二番手
　御人数出切不申内御出馬御人数相集候得は込合候故右之通に候間末々に至迄可被申付候

現代語訳

一、東叡山では無作法に番所等へ入ってはならない。もちろん寺々へも右の通りである。御宿坊へ向かう義は格別とする。

一、東叡山において末端の者どもまで、もし病人が出たり、また怪我人が出た節は、目付中へ連絡し指図次第、明静院方へ差し向かうこと。

一、急火でなく御定めの場所の内の出火で東叡山へ御人数が向かった場合は、吉祥閣前左右へ一番手二番手に分かれて御人数を立ち置くこと。馬はもちろん下馬札より段々下の方へ立ち置くこと。御役人が御出の時は下礼をして控えていること。もっとも横小路道がある処は道を空けて控えていること。

一、上野へ御成の節は、御先、武頭一騎、水の手平士一騎、御徒目付一人、御徒二人、目付組御先組、防の者、荒子等召し連れ相詰めること。右の外、御留守居一人相詰めること。

一、谷中辺出火で御仏殿へ近く見える火事
一、御山の内と見える火事
一、東叡山へは少し間はあるが風激しく風下と見える火事
一、東叡山風脇と見えても御山近き火事
　右の通り急火であるから、そのように心得ること。この外火事に見合い次第対応すること。

一、火事場において御役人どもは指図に任せ、末端また者に至るまで精を出し火を消すこと。不届きの仕形があった場合は、御吟味の上急度仰せ付けられる。

右の趣を触れるよう仰せ出されたので、面々その旨を存じ、下々に至るまで堅く申し付けること。以上

横物御家中相回る御触れなり

一、上野御場所近所出火の節、御屋敷中早く拍子木を打ち回し、二番手御人数相揃う筈である。そのよう心得、懸札の下へ相集まるよう末々に至るまで申し付けること。

一、御出馬なされる節は鉦を打ち回すので、その節御供の面々末々に至るまで御玄関より小玄関前までの内に相集まること。右の鳴物の触れがない内は御長屋の内で何でも支度をして控えていること。二番手御人数が出切らない内に御出馬御人数が相集まれば込み合うゆえ、右の通りであるから末々に至るまで申し付けること。

Horses should naturally be positioned progressively downward from the dismounting posts. When officials are present, remain respectfully at attention. Particularly where there are side lane roads, clear the way and remain at attention.

1. When the lord visits Ueno, the advance guard shall consist of: one mounted military head, one mounted commoner of the water unit, one foot soldier inspector, two foot soldiers, inspector unit advance guard, defenders, servants, etc., who shall accompany and take positions. In addition to these, one caretaker shall take position.

1. Fires in the Yanaka area that appear close to the Buddha Hall
1. Fires that appear to be within the sacred mountain
1. Fires that are somewhat distant from Tōeisan but appear to be downwind with fierce winds

These are considered urgent fires, so understand accordingly. Respond to other fires as circumstances warrant.

1. At fire sites, officials shall follow instructions, and everyone from the lowest ranks shall exert themselves to extinguish fires. If there is misconduct, strict orders will be issued after investigation.
