二天門ゟ内へは馬上不罷成候不及申候得共為心得為相知候
一水廻り毎日可相勤事
但雨天之節は廻り不及事
一御出馬御供之面々右拍子木打候はゝ致支度御触次第小玄冠前へ集り御供可相勤事
御出馬被遊候節は板打御人数出払候迄続打可申事
御出馬之節於途中御用有之被為 召候節并申上る義有之節馬より下り立不及
申馬上にて可申上事
一面々持槍は乗馬一所に指置可申事
一途中にて少之物にてもひろひ取候事堅御法度に候且又食物并草履草鞋等
之類押取押買堅不仕候様末々之者尤面々家来へ急度可申付事

一火事出来御人数出候事行列構なく可罷越火消道具持之者共へも兼て

一七ツ時御挑灯は不及申御家中挑灯御上屋敷之分小玄冠前へ集り居御駕附之面々并御挑灯

現代語訳
二天門より内へは馬上で入ることはできない。言うまでもないことだが、心得として知らせておく。
一、水回りは毎日勤めること。
ただし雨天の節は回らなくてよい。
一、御出馬御供の面々は、右の拍子木を打った場合は支度をし、御触れ次第小玄関前へ集まり御供を勤めること。
御出馬なされる節は板を打ち、御人数が出払うまで続けて打つこと。
御出馬の節、途中で御用があり召される節並びに申し上げることがある節は、馬より下り立つに及ばず、馬上にて申し上げること。
一、面々の持槍は乗馬と一緒に置くこと。
一、途中で少しの物でも拾い取ることは堅く御法度である。また食物並びに草履草鞋等の類を押し取り押し買いすることは堅くしないよう、末端の者はもちろん面々の家来へ急度申し付けること。
一、馬の纏は中黒の際、夜は放駒の提灯であるから、そのように心得ること。
一、火事が起こり御人数が出る際は行列を構えることなく向かうこと。火消道具持ちの者どもへも予めその趣を申し付け置き、競り合わず段々出ること。もっとも場所においては、その手々に予め申し付け置いた通り、一か所に集まるよう申し付けること。
一、火事が静まり御人数が引き取る節、御老中若年寄中はもちろん、御三家様へ途中で出会った場合は、馬より下り立ち道を除けて通ること。
一、火事が静まり御人数が引き取る節は、黒門外まで馬を牽いて出て、段々乗って引き取ること。
一、上野御山の内の出火と確かに分かった場合は、火元近所まで乗り付け下り立ち、段々火元へ向かうこと。
その節は下馬札に構わない。御役人中若しくは御出があった時はその心得をすること。御門跡様が御出になることもあるので、ともにその心得をすること。
一、途中より入られる節は、少々御回り道でも構わないので、脇道より入られるよう御先駆けを致すこと。
若し御先より纏って通す時分は、総様馬より下り立つに及ばず、急度腰をかがめて通るようにすること。
一、二番手御人数の内、若し御用があり御馬が御跡へ残った場合は、その供は御跡より向かうこと。乗り越えまたは脇道より御先へ向かうには及ばないこと。
一、七ツ時の御提灯は言うに及ばず、御家中提灯、御上屋敷の分は小玄関前へ集まり居て、御駕籠付きの面々並びに御提灯支配の御徒の者は指図に任すこと。
一、途中より御急ぎの節は、御馬回りにて拍子木を打つこと。
一、夜に入り提灯を立てる所は、御場所において二番手より御供の面々、御供目付、御駕籠付きの面々が申し談じて指図すること。
一、火が鎮まり御人数が上がる節は、場所において拍子木を打つこと。
