　不時御火消御定書　　定
一火事之節不時防被　仰出候はゝ急に御人数可被指出候間役附之面々兼て此旨
　を相心得罷在風烈之節は他出無用に可被致事
　　　　附家来之者風吹候節是又御門外へ出し候事其心得可有之候
一防場所之儀は御留守居指図次第先御纏ゟ段々可被罷越事
一於場所　公儀御役人中は不及申其外御大名中江行合候節片寄り
　罷越慮外ケ間敷体仕間敷候此段末々之者共江堅可被申付候
　御三家様御三卿様御老中御一門様方御通之節騎馬下り立不及下礼
　可罷通事
一於火事場何にても拾い取候事
　公儀御法度に候間下々に至迄堅く相慎み候様可被申付候
一火事有之御人数相揃候節御屋敷中拍子木せわしく為打可申候□
　騎馬之面々は早速人数召連中之口前江可被罷出候且又役附之面々惣御人

寛政五年癸丑年（1793年）

臨時火消し規定書　定

一、火事の際に臨時の防火活動を命じられた場合は、急いで人数を派遣すること。役職者たちは予めこの旨を心得ておき、風の強い日は外出を控えること
　付：家来の者も風が吹いている時は同様に御門の外に出してはならない。この心得を持つこと

一、防火の場所については、御留守居の指図に従い、まず御纏（消防隊の目印）から順次現場に向かうこと

一、現場において、幕府の役人はもちろん、その他の大名たちに出会った際も、脇に寄って遠慮がちに振る舞うような体裁の悪いことをしてはならない。この点を末端の者たちまで厳しく申し付けること
　御三家様・御三卿様・御老中・御一門様方がお通りの際は、騎馬から降りる必要はなく、礼も不要でそのまま通ること

一、火事場において何であっても拾い取ることは幕府の法度であるので、下々に至るまで厳しく慎むよう申し付けること

一、火事があり人数が揃った際は、屋敷中で拍子木を忙しく打つこと。騎馬の面々は早速人数を連れて中之口前に出ること。また役職者たち総御人［続く］

Emergency Fire Brigade Regulations

Article 1: When emergency fire prevention activities are ordered during a fire, personnel must be dispatched immediately. Officials should understand this in advance and refrain from going out on windy days.
　Addendum: Retainers should likewise not be sent outside the gate during windy conditions. This should be understood.

Article 1: Regarding fire prevention locations, follow the instructions of the caretaker officials, proceeding to the scene in order starting from the fire brigade banner (identifying marker).

Article 1: At the scene, when encountering shogunate officials or other daimyo, do not behave in an unseemly manner by stepping aside obsequiously. This point must be strictly communicated even to the lowest-ranking personnel.
　When the Three Branch Houses, Three Lords, Senior Councilors, or related family members pass by, there is no need to dismount from horses or bow - simply proceed as normal.

Article 1: Taking anything at a fire scene is prohibited by shogunate law, so this must be strictly observed by all, down to the lowest ranks.
