右之通相心得御小人頭へ可申付事
但御姫様に候へは御広敷方にて取扱候故御目付方にては不申付候事

一御宮参御用掛り江戸御国共御目付壱人御徒目付弐人宛
一明和六丑九月山王御宮参之節社内投米投銭之儀御広敷方ゟ相勤其先江

一御幟之節取扱之事
一若殿様御幟七本 但地合龍紋
一御次男様ゟ御末は五本或は三本 但唐木綿
右之通相意得候事
一御兜数不同御幟裏手に飾之
一御数槍十筋
一出来合台傘竪笠長刀

現代語訳
右の通り心得て御小人頭へ申し付けること
ただし御姫様の場合は御広敷方にて取り扱うため、御目付方では申し付けないこと
一、御姫様・御次男様以下の御七夜御祝儀について、表方での御目見えは仰せ付けられないこと
一、御婚礼・御宮参りその他御用掛りを仰せ付けられるほどの儀式の場合は、竪帳の内にもある通り、御供・御行列の書絵形の通りに取り扱うこと

右の通り御用掛りを勤める者が御供行列を持って、御用人その他諸方面へ申し談ずる際は、右の折本をもって申し談じ、かつ御徒目付へも右の通り認めて相渡しておくこと
一、江戸表の御宮参りの件は山王宮へ参入されること。別当観理院、神主樹下采女正
ただし明和六年丑九月の近例では、御先番御目付一人ずつ、御徒目付一人ずつ
一、御国表の御宮参りの件は神明宮へ参入されること
一、御宮参り御用掛りについて、江戸・御国とも御目付一人、御徒目付二人ずつ
一、明和六年丑九月山王御宮参りの際、社内での投米・投銭の件は御広敷方から勤め、その先へ御徒目付一人が参ること
一、御幟の際の取り扱いの件

The above should be understood and ordered to the head of minor retainers (okobito-gashira).
However, in the case of princesses, since this is handled by the inner palace administration (ohirosiki-kata), it shall not be ordered by the inspector's office.
1. Regarding the seventh-night celebrations for princesses and second sons and below, formal audience at the outer administration shall not be ordered.
1. For wedding ceremonies, shrine visits, and other occasions where officials are appointed to important duties, these shall be handled according to the escort procession diagrams as recorded in the vertical ledger.

When those serving as officials in charge discuss matters with chamberlains and other departments while managing escort processions as above, they shall use the above folded book for discussions, and also prepare and deliver the same to ashigaru inspectors.
1. For shrine visits in Edo, visits shall be made to Sanno Shrine. Head priest: Kanri-in, Chief priest: Kige Uneme-no-sho.
However, according to recent precedent from September of Meiwa 6 (1769), one advance inspector and one ashigaru inspector each.
1. For shrine visits in the domain, visits shall be made to Shinmei Shrine.
1. For shrine visit officials, both in Edo and the domain: one inspector and two ashigaru inspectors each.
1. During the Sanno Shrine visit in September of Meiwa 6 (1769), the matter of throwing rice and coins within the shrine grounds was handled by the inner palace administration, with one ashigaru inspector going ahead.

1. According to recent precedent from Meiwa 5 (1768), during the banner period, rounds were conducted three times daily accompanied by ashigaru inspectors.
However, banners were erected from the first to the sixth of the fifth month, and also erected outside the inner palace gate with one attendant assigned.
Mizutama section:
1. For births, seventh-night celebrations, first hair arrangement, first hakama, first obi, coming of age, sleeve fastening, first wearing of armor, and other important celebratory occasions: formal hemp ceremonial dress shall be worn.
1. For marriage ceremonies, betrothal gifts, return visits, and celebratory occasions: fine hemp ceremonial dress with the same formal sash shall be worn. However, in summer, light-colored ceremonial dress with matching dyed unlined garments shall be worn.
