英語訳
[He] petitioned to adopt his younger brother Shigohachi as son-in-law and heir.
In the 4th month of the same year, he was appointed to oversee spear techniques training.
In the 7th month of the same year, he petitioned to change his name to Shinbei.
In the 12th month of the same year, for his diligent service at the newly established defense post in Soshu province, he was rewarded with two bundles of cotton.
In the 4th month of the 11th year, Inu (1818), his request to be relieved from overseeing spear techniques training was granted.
In the 11th month of the same year, when unit leader Nagasaka Heitayu was reassigned, he was transferred to the unit of his successor, Ibuka Denjiro.
In the 9th month of the 12th year, I (1819), as requested, his son Shigohachi was appointed as his deputy.
In the 10th month of the 14th year, Ushi (1821), when foreign ships arrived and troops were dispatched to Jogashima leaving a skeleton crew behind, he served as camp gate guard.
In the 5th month of Bunsei 1, Tora year (1818), it was officially announced that he had served at the gate guard post during the arrival of foreign ships the previous autumn.
