daughter of Sasahara Konokichi Tadaaki
- In the 12th month of the 9th year of Kansei (1797), for his diligent work at the Shogakuryō (Calligraphy Academy), he was awarded five ink sticks as a reward
- In the 5th month of the 3rd year of Kyōwa (1803), he was appointed as a hired gaiyo-shi-jō retainer in Edo and served until mid-7th month
- In the 1st year of Bunka (1804), he was appointed as head supervisor (daijūchō) of the school
- In the 3rd month of the 5th year of Bunka (1808), he was appointed to the temporary position of assistant administrator at the Shogakuryō
- In the 2nd month of the 9th year of Bunka (1812), he was appointed as supervisor of Taishi-ryū swordsmanship
- In the 11th month of the same year, according to his grandfather's wish, he was appointed as adopted son of his elder brother Iwaki
