数ケ所村々にて百性家震潰れ其外田畑地割れ
数百ケ所砂泥吹出し領地不残押入今以震動仕

Report to Toda Yamashiro-no-kami, duty officer, regarding the great earthquake in Shinano Province on the 24th day of the 3rd month of Kōka 4, year of the sheep
Item: In my domain territory within Takai District of Shinano Province, from around the hour of the boar on the 24th day before yesterday,
the earthquake was severe, with damage to several locations in the magistrate's office, retainers' residences and row houses,
peasant houses collapsed in the villages, and in addition, fields cracked open in
several hundred places, sand and mud gushed forth, affecting all areas of the domain without exception, and tremors continue to this day.
Fortunately, there were no injuries to people or horses in the domain territory. However, among those who had gone
on pilgrimage to Zenkōji Temple or for seasonal work, it is heard that there may be some deaths,
but investigations have not been completed. Details will be reported later. First,
