書付を以諸月番江申渡之
但右御書付之趣者旧冬廿二日於江戸表被 仰出候与同様
ニ付不記之

一 正月元日、年始のお祝いのため登城され、例年通り太刀・馬代をご献上、呉服を拝領される
一 同月二十一日、評定所において倹約の件について、月番家老の本多民部《割書：道好》が書付をもって諸月番に申し渡した
ただし、右の書付の内容は、前年冬の二十二日に江戸表で仰せ出されたものと同様であるため、ここには記載しない

1. On New Year's Day, [Lord Munetsugu] went to the castle for New Year's congratulations, presented a sword and horse money as usual, and received silk garments as a gift.
1. On the 21st of the same month, at the Hyōjōsho (Council of State), regarding the matter of frugality, the monthly duty elder Honda Minbu 《Marginal note: Dōkō》 issued instructions to all monthly duty officials through a written directive.
However, the content of the aforementioned written directive was the same as what was proclaimed at Edo on the 22nd of last winter, so it is not recorded here.
