長からむ 黒髪の乱て
心も けさは
しらず 物をこそ思へ
恋の哥なりこゝろは
昨夜はじめて逢たに
つけても 待賢
男の心の末長く
かはるまいほども 門院

さま〴〵に此の朝ね髪の乱れやうに 堀
思ひみだるゝとなり ながからん

郭 鳴つるかたを 只有明の
公 ながむれば 月ぞ残れる
是は 時鳥といふ題にて

あけて鳴くかたをながむれば
ほとゝぎすのゆくへはみえず 寺
有明の月ばかり

現代語訳
【右丁】
長からむ 黒髪の乱れて
心も 今朝は
知らず 物をこそ思え
これは恋の歌である。心は、
昨夜初めて逢った
男の心の末永く
変わるまいほども
知れないと
思えば
今朝は嬉しいながら
さまざまにこの朝寝髪の乱れ様に
思い乱れるということである。「長からん」
というのも
髪の長いこと
によせて言っている。
【左丁】
ほととぎすの
鳴くつる方を ただ有明の
眺むれば 月ぞ残れる
これは時鳥（ほととぎす）という題で
詠まれた歌である。歌の心は、
夢を覚ましていれば明け方
に鳴くゆえ、ゆかしい声に
起きて鳴く方を眺むれば
ほととぎすの行方は見えず
有明の月ばかり
鮮やかに見えて
いる
ということ
である。

My heart also this morning

This is a love poem. The meaning is:
Having met for the first time last night
with a man, not knowing how long
his heart will remain
unchanged,
thinking this,
this morning, while joyful,
I am confused in various ways like this morning hair's dishevelment,
my thoughts are in disarray. The phrase "long shall be"
also
refers to the length
of the hair.

The cuckoo's
crying direction only the dawn
when I gaze upon moon remains
This is a poem composed
on the theme of the cuckoo (hototogisu). The heart of the poem is:
Having awakened from dreams, at daybreak
it cries, so awakened by its elegant voice,
when I gaze toward where it cries,
the cuckoo's whereabouts cannot be seen,
only the dawn moon
appears clearly
there.
That is
the meaning.
