【右丁】
度の御修理の際に唐銅で造立し、高さおよそ二丈二尺ばかり、柱回り六尺五寸、
笠木に巴の紋を付ける。
三仏堂 新宮鳥居の北の方にあり、往古金堂と称するのはこれである。山内
での大堂で銅葺、赤塗り、正面十八間、横間十四、五間。日光三社の本地仏を安置する。
堂内には千手観音は新宮の本地仏である。馬頭観音は本宮の本地仏で、各々座像八尺
五寸。阿弥陀は滝尾の本地仏で、高さ九尺五寸ばかり。これは慈覚大師が当山に登り、
寺院建立の際にこの尊像を彫造されたものである。この堂内の乾の隅に勝
道上人の木像を安置し、艮の方には軍荼利明王の木像をも安置している。

During the repair work of that period, it was constructed in bronze, approximately 2 jō 2 shaku in height, with pillars measuring 6 shaku 5 sun in circumference,
and tomoe crests attached to the kasagi (top crossbeam).
Sanbutsudō (Three Buddha Hall): Located north of the Shingū Torii, this is what was called Kondō (Golden Hall) in ancient times. It is the great hall within the mountain compound,
with copper roofing and red lacquer finish, 18 ken across the front and 14-15 ken deep. It enshrines the honji-butsu (original Buddha forms) of the Nikkō Three Shrines.
In the hall, Senju Kannon is the honji of Shingū. Batō Kannon is the honji of Hongū, each being seated statues of 8 shaku
5 sun. Amida is the honji of Takino-o, approximately 9 shaku 5 sun in height. These are the sacred statues that Jikaku Daishi carved when he climbed this mountain
and established the temple. In the northwest corner of this hall is enshrined a wooden statue of Shōdō Shōnin, and in the northeast direction is also placed a wooden statue of Gundari Myōō.
