求聞持堂（ぐもんぢだう） 本尊（ほんぞん）虚空蔵（こくうざう）なり御供所（おんくうじよ）の南にあり
阿弥陀堂（あみだだう） 石像（せきざう）の三尊（さんぞん）を安（あん）す門（もん）を入（いり）て㔫の方（かた）にあり
御座主宮御廟（おんざすのみやおんべう） 阿弥陀堂（あみだだう）の脇（わき）より石階（せきかい）を西の方（かた）へ登（のぼ）り御門（ごもん）を入（いり）

趾（し）拜殿（はいでん）へ登（のぼ）る一 段下（だんした）の左の方（かた）にあり井桁（ゐげた）の傍（かたはら）に石像（せきざう）二尺 許（ばかり）なる

慈眼大師鐘銘《割書：并序》
日光山台教中興天海尊者慈眼大師之靈廟者由
征夷大將軍從一位左相府源朝臣家光公之鈞命而
所建營也額兹梵室曰顯正院矣弟子公海欲謝師德
鎔鑄蕐鯨以備晨昏之驚覺焉伏冀天下清寧庻民安
泰佛典廣敷群靈均益云爾銘曰
日光靈崛 勝景偉々 山川幽谷 殆摸月氏 三佛並塔
衆神列簃 巍々金殿 堂々畫榱 中興祖庿 德海無涯
摧邪顯正 以之名師 金鑄犍地 掛在高櫪 搖動一擊
聲利甚丕 遐益三界 通覺四維 折伏魔外 彈破鬼魑
罽膩消劍 唐主脫罹 君臣如意 國家平夷 佛乗弘揚

【右丁】
卯（う）向き三間に四間、総揚蔀（そうあげしとみ）、赤塗り、二重垂木、向拝、縁側付き、前扉黒塗り、左右
ともに揚蔀、銅葺き
御供所（おんくうしょ） 本地堂に相接している。向きは前と同じ。二間に七間、素木造り、縁側付き、板葺き
求聞持堂（ぐもんじどう） 本尊は虚空蔵菩薩である。御供所の南にある
阿弥陀堂（あみだどう） 石像の三尊を安置している。門を入って左の方にある
御座主宮御廟（おんざすのみやおんびょう） 阿弥陀堂の脇より石階を西の方へ登り、御門を入り
て右の方に礼拝所があって、その三方に石垣を高く築き上げた上に三方へ
折り回し、御宝塔九基が建てられている
功徳水（くどくすい） 御手洗井である。常に井桁で覆い、汲むことを禁じている。上屋があり、
拝殿へ登る一段下の左の方にある。井桁の傍らに石像二尺ばかりの
水神の立像を安置している

慈眼大師鐘銘《並びに序》
日光山台教中興天海尊者慈眼大師の霊廟は、
征夷大将軍従一位左大臣源朝臣家光公の勅命によって
建営されたものである。この梵室に額して顕正院と称す。弟子公海は師の徳に謝し、
華鯨を鋳造して朝夕の警覚に備える。伏して願わくは天下清寧、庶民安
泰、仏典広く敷かれ、群霊等しく益せんことを。銘に曰く
日光の霊崛 勝景偉々 山川幽谷 殆んど月氏に摸す 三仏並び塔し
衆神列簃す 巍々たる金殿 堂々たる画榱 中興祖廟 徳海無涯
邪を摧き正を顕す 以てこれを師と名づく 金鋳の犍地 高櫪に掛在す 搖動一撃
声利甚だ丕し 遐しく三界に益し 四維に通覚す 魔外を折伏し 鬼魑を弾破す
罽膩剣を消し 唐主罹を脱す 君臣如意 国家平夷 仏乗弘揚

Offering Hall (Onkūsho) Adjacent to the Honji Hall. Same orientation as before. Two ken by seven ken, plain wood construction, with verandas, plank-roofed
Gumonji Hall (Gumonjidō) The principal deity is Kokūzō Bodhisattva. Located south of the Offering Hall
Amida Hall (Amidadō) Houses a stone triad. Located to the left after entering the gate
Mausoleum of the Head Priest (Onzasu-no-miya Onbyō) From beside the Amida Hall, climb stone steps westward, enter the gate,
and to the right there is a worship hall, with stone walls built high on three sides, and
folding around three sides, nine sacred pagodas are erected
Merit Water (Kudokusui) This is the purification well. Always covered with a well-frame, drawing water is prohibited. There is a roof structure,
located to the left one level down from ascending to the worship hall. Beside the well-frame is installed
a stone statue about two shaku tall of a standing water deity

Bell Inscription of Great Master Jigen《With Preface》
The mausoleum of Great Master Jigen, the venerable Tenkai who restored the Tendai teachings at Mount Nikkō,
was constructed by the imperial command of Shogun Iemitsu,
Junior First Rank, Minister of the Left, Minamoto no Ason. This Buddhist chamber is named Kenshōin. Disciple Kōkai, wishing to express gratitude for his master's virtue,
cast this bronze bell to serve for morning and evening awakening. Humbly we pray that the realm be peaceful, the people
secure, Buddhist teachings widely spread, and all spirits equally benefited. The inscription reads:
Nikkō's sacred peaks Magnificent scenery grand Mountains, rivers, secluded valleys Almost resembling the moon realm Three Buddhas stand in pagodas
Myriad deities line the halls Majestic golden halls Splendid painted eaves Restored ancestral shrine Virtuous ocean boundless
Crushing evil, revealing truth Thus we name this master Golden cast temple bell Hanging high above One strike sets in motion
The sound's benefit most great Extending benefit to three realms Awakening the four directions Subduing demons and heretics Destroying evil spirits
Dissolving poisoned swords The Tang emperor escapes calamity Ruler and ministers in harmony The nation peaceful Buddhist teachings flourishing
