現代語訳
（前ページより続き）番（御尊骸のお番）を相勤め、御葬儀が済んだ後、翌寅年（延宝二年）四月に（江戸へ）罷り登った。
一、同四年（辰年）五月、元服を仰せ付けられ、常詰御供番を仰せ付けられた。
一、同七年（未年）十月、親の願いにより、妻子が引き越して会津へ罷り下るに付き、親一同（ともに）会津へ罷り下り、交代して御供番を勤めた。
一、天和元年（酉年）三月、将軍宣下の御振舞に付き、御人指しにて江戸表へ罷り登る節、道中御小姓同道を仰せ付けられ、罷り登り、直ちに勤番を相勤め、同十月に罷り下った。
一、貞享二年（丑年）十月、勤番のため江戸表へ罷り登ったところ、御戸番を仰せ付けられ、翌寅年（貞享三年）四月に罷り下った。
但し、陣中御上下一具を下し置かれた。
一、同年（貞享二年）十一月、親の願いの通り御番代として外様組付を仰せ付けられ、春日仁左衛門組に入り、御城御番を相勤めた。
英語訳
(Continued from previous page) ...he served on watch duty [over the revered remains], and after the funeral was complete, he traveled back up [to Edo] in the fourth month of the following Year of the Tiger (Enpō 2, 1674).
One: In the fifth month of the fourth year [of Enpō] (the Year of the Dragon, 1676), he was granted his coming-of-age ceremony (genpuku), and was appointed to the post of Tsunezume Otomo-ban (permanent-duty escort guard).
One: In the tenth month of the seventh year [of Enpō] (the Year of the Sheep, 1679), upon his father's petition, his wife and children relocated and traveled down to Aizu, whereupon he also traveled down to Aizu together with his father, and alternately served in the escort guard (otomo-ban) duty.
One: In the third month of Tenna 1 (the Year of the Rooster, 1681), in connection with the celebratory banquet for the shogunal investiture, he was designated by name [for service] and was appointed to accompany an okoshō (page) along the road as he traveled up to Edo. Upon arriving, he immediately commenced his duty rotation (kinban), and traveled back down [to Aizu] in the tenth month of the same year.
One: In the tenth month of Jōkyō 2 (the Year of the Ox, 1685), he traveled up to Edo for duty rotation (kinban), whereupon he was appointed to the post of Otodaban (gate guard), and traveled back down [to Aizu] in the fourth month of the following Year of the Tiger (Jōkyō 3, 1686).
Note: He was granted one set of formal ceremonial garments (kamishimo) for service in the field/on duty.
One: In the eleventh month of the same year (Jōkyō 2, 1685), in accordance with his father's petition, he was appointed as his father's substitute (bandai) and assigned to the Tozama-gumi (outer retainer unit), entered the unit of Kasuga Jinzaemon, and served on castle guard duty (oshiro goban).
