競馬二番之乗尻《割書：左権介番久｜右采女佐三久》近年珍敷由也但
天文一年ニ例有之由此儀子細有之別之指様
有之処ニ而無案内候也種々違共有之
一文禄二年
競馬ニ民部丞氏栄初乗振舞とて仕候処ニ四日之
暁母死去付而老若寄合種々評儀仕候処従昔も
如此儀一切無之候浄衣着ニ可被乗由候へトモ皆々
軽服ニ而可乗仁無之付て内名内蔵助乗候へトノ儀也
座次第違候而如何ノ由候へトモ俄ノ儀ニ而向後ノ引カケニハ
成間敷ト之書物ニ而内蔵助被乗候前代未聞か
様之儀無之トノ儀也但親不孝由天道ノ儀ノ由風

競馬二番の騎手《左：権介番久｜右：采女佐三久》は近年珍しいことである。ただし、天文一年に例があったとのこと。この件については事情があり、別の指示があったところで、案内がなかった。種々の違いもあった。
一文禄二年
競馬で民部丞氏栄が初乗りの振舞いをすることになっていたところ、四日の明け方に母が死去したため、老若が寄り合って種々議論したところ、昔からこのような事例は一切なかった。浄衣を着て乗るべきであるが、皆軽服で乗る人がいないため、内名内蔵助が乗ることになった。
座次が違うのはいかがなものかという意見もあったが、急なことで今後の前例にはならないという書面で、内蔵助が乗った。前代未聞でこのような事例はないということである。ただし親不孝により天道に背くという風聞もあった。
一五月五日
関白様の御成があった。三番競馬は一番のみで、二番からは鐙摺まで勝負があった。そこで惣中から御樽五荷、鯛物、粽百把、饅頭五十を進上したところ、すぐに御樽と粽は惣中へ下賜された。

The two riders for the second horse race 《Left: Gon no suke Banhisa｜Right: Uneme no suke Sanhisa》 was a rare occurrence in recent years. However, there was precedent in the first year of Tenbun era. There were circumstances regarding this matter, and there were separate instructions, but there was no proper guidance. There were various discrepancies.
Bunroku 2nd year
In the horse race, Minbu no jō Ujiei was to perform the ceremonial first ride, but his mother died at dawn on the fourth day. When the old and young gathered to discuss the matter, there had never been such a case since ancient times. He should have ridden wearing purification robes, but since no one could ride in light mourning dress, it was decided that Uchinomyō Kuranosuke would ride.
There were opinions that the seating order was inappropriate, but since it was an urgent matter and would not set a precedent for the future, Kuranosuke rode according to written agreement. This was an unprecedented case with no prior examples. However, there were rumors that it went against heavenly principles due to filial impiety.
May 5th
His Excellency the Regent visited. For the three-race series, only the first race was held, and from the second race onward, competitions were held up to the stirrup-polishing ceremony. The community offered five loads of sake barrels, sea bream, one hundred bundles of rice dumplings, and fifty steamed buns, whereupon the sake barrels and rice dumplings were immediately bestowed upon the community.
