四番衆阿波介経苗依所労越前介一顕へ
交代之旨若役ヲ以所司大夫江相届依之座

一五月五日早朝参籠ゟ参社之節直参之
人は大田ゟ直ニ下向所労等ニ而代乗相立候時ハ
右之人数福徳社之辺ニ立留り各若所労代乗
相立候節届之ケ所申合所労之分者互ニ届不及其外

神主馬所社司階下両人催奉行出口肝煎四人之内
壱人残り入魂相手方
一若乗馬之積ニ而申合無之先へ帰俄二所労之仁
有之時者早々右ノケ所并乗尻二十人共相届也

長門守氏尚亭ニ而祓事虫入之由ニ而取替被申入処
御禊済不立シテ直ニ退出金津計相残シ其趣初乗

馬所から代官中へ届け出があったため、代官経古森顕が出席した。右の通り、それぞれへ届け出られたとのことである。
一、寛政十午年（1798年）五月二日
四番衆阿波介経苗が病気のため、越前介一顕へ交代する旨を、若役を以て所司大夫へ届け出た。これにより座席衆へ所司大夫から小中（小使・中間）を差し向けて招集をかけた。
一、五月五日早朝、参籠から神社へ参る際、直参の人は太田から直接下向するが、病気等により代理の騎乗者が立つ時は、右の人数は福徳社の辺りに立ち止まり、各々病気や代理騎乗者が立つ節の届け出先を申し合わせる。病気の分については互いに届け出る必要はないが、その他の届け出先は以下の通りである。
神主、馬所、社司、階下両人、催奉行、出口肝煎四人の内一人、残りの入魂相手方
一、騎乗の予定で申し合わせがないまま先に帰り、急に病気の人が出た時は、早々に右の箇所並びに乗尻二十人共に届け出ること。
一、文化七午年（1810年）五月三日
陰陽大夫、乗尻二十人の忌み明けが済んで立ち回る。この時、九番左長門守氏尚の邸にて祓い事の虫入りのことで取り替えを申し入れたところ、御禊が済まないうちに直接退出し、金津だけが相残した。その趣を初乗の内の昶経へ届け出、氏尚からは御禊を立てない旨を会所良俊へ

A report was made from the horse officials (uma-dokoro) to the deputy officials (daikan-chū), so Deputy Kyōko Moriaki attended. It is said that reports were made to each respective party as described above.

The fourth group member Awa-no-suke Kyōnae fell ill, so a replacement by Echizen-no-suke Kazuaki was reported to the Chief Administrator (shoshi-dayū) through a junior official (waka-yaku). Accordingly, the Chief Administrator sent minor officials to summon the seated members.
1. On the 5th day of the 5th month, early morning, when proceeding from the religious retreat (sankō) to the shrine, direct participants descend directly from Ōta, but when substitute riders are appointed due to illness, etc., these people stop near Fukutoku Shrine and coordinate among themselves regarding where to report when illness or substitute riders occur. For cases of illness, mutual reporting is not necessary, but other reporting destinations are as follows:
Head priest (shinshū), horse officials, shrine officials, both stairway attendants, supervising officials, four gate supervisors (of which one), remaining ritual partners.
1. When there is no prior arrangement for mounted participation and someone returns early, if someone suddenly falls ill, reports must be made promptly to the above-mentioned places as well as to all twenty riding attendants.

The Yin-Yang Master and twenty riding attendants completed their purification period and began their duties. At this time, when the ninth group's Sa Nagato-no-kami Ujinao requested a substitution at his residence due to ritual purification and insect invasion, he departed directly without completing the purification ritual, leaving only Kanatsu behind. This matter was reported to Chōkyō among the lead riders, and Ujinao reported to Yoshitoshi at the meeting place that the purification ritual would not be performed.
