（五味殿は）咳の具合により、万事を申し入れることなくお帰りになった。
一、八日、晴れ。影堂にて朝の寄合があった。今回、旧記を惣中で披見したいと森家へ使者を遣わしたところ、すぐに了承を得た。
一、九日、天晴れ、夕方に雨。影堂にて寄合があった。今回の再造営の件について、些かの不正・私曲があってはならないという旨の置文の評議を定めた。
一、十日、天晴れ。五味金右衛門殿より使者が来て、近日中に大工が入る予定であるが、材木その他について何かと支障をきたすことはないだろうかという、念のための使者であった。
一、十一日、天晴れ。森・松下・民部大輔・内蔵助・左兵衛・右衛門大夫の五人が五味殿のところへ罷り出たところ、十七、八日頃より大工が入る予定であるので、当所担当の大工に工数を積算させるようにとの旨を申し渡された。
一、十二日、天晴れ。影堂にて惣中の書物の選り分けを行った。
一、十三日、天晴れ。影堂にて小櫃の書物を改めた（点検・確認した）。
一、十四日、天晴れ。大炊頭・美作守・図書頭・主殿頭・次郎作・刑部大輔の五人が、惣中の使者として森家へ赴き、万事について談合し、その上で旧記を閲覧するために参上した。

Item: The 8th day, clear. A morning assembly was held at the Eido (shadow hall/memorial hall). A messenger was sent to the Mori household requesting that the old records be shown to the entire community (sōchū), and immediate consent was received.
Item: The 9th day, clear skies, rain in the evening. An assembly was held at the Eido. Regarding the upcoming reconstruction project, it was decided by deliberation that a written pledge (okibumi) would be established, stating that no improper conduct or self-serving behavior whatsoever would be permitted.
Item: The 10th day, clear. A messenger arrived from Lord Gomi Kin'emon, inquiring as a precautionary measure whether the arrival of carpenters in the near future might cause any difficulties with regard to lumber and other matters.
Item: The 11th day, clear. Five individuals—Mori, Matsushita, Minbu no Taifu, Kurando no Suke, Sabyōe, and Uemon no Taifu—appeared before Lord Gomi, where they were informed that carpenters would be entering the site around the 17th or 18th of the month, and that the carpenters assigned to this location should be made to calculate the number of workdays required.
