一、十七日、天晴れ。左馬助・美作守・（左→右）衛門大夫・新吉・丹波・半兵衛が五味殿のところへ参上し、先年以来の賀茂（社）の進退に関する御朱印、その他の打紙等を御覧に入れた。
一、十八日、天晴れ。五味殿が旧井喜兵衛・大工・筑後・権右衛門等を召し連れて、当所（賀茂社）の木屋の様子や諸事を見繕うために、巳刻（午前十時）頃に御上りになった。すなわち社司衆・社頭衆・指副等が出仕した。万事について相談し、その上で昨日申し上げた切手（通行証・証文）の件、また以前からの慣例・作法についても御下問があり、一々社司・氏人がみなそろって申し渡した。今後以降の切手等は雑掌の判形（判を押したもの）によるべきとの旨に定められた。
一、十九日、右衛門大夫・左馬助・美作守が五味殿のところへ参上し、昨日の御礼、また切手の件を改めて申し上げたところ、旧井喜兵衛が「今日は日柄が悪いので、明朝お出でになるように」とのことで（一行は）お帰りになった。

Item: The 17th day, clear. Samanosuke, Mimasaka no Kami, (Left→Right) emon no Taifu, Shinkichi, Tanba, and Hanbei visited Lord Gomi, and showed him the shogunal vermilion-seal documents (goshuin) concerning the affairs of Kamo Shrine from previous years, along with other correspondence documents (uchigami).
Item: The 18th day, clear. Lord Gomi, accompanied by Furui Kihei, the head carpenter, Chikugo, Gon'emon, and others, arrived at around the Hour of the Snake (approximately 10 a.m.) to inspect the condition of the timber yard and other matters at this location. The shrine priests (shashi), shrine representatives (shatō), and assistant deputies (sashizoe) all came out accordingly. They consulted on all matters, and additionally were asked about the certificates (kitte) mentioned the previous day, as well as established customs and practices from before. The shrine priests and clan members all responded together on each point. It was decided that henceforth, certificates and the like would bear the seal (hangyō) of the shrine administrator (zōshō).
Item: The 19th day. Uemon no Taifu, Samanosuke, and Mimasaka no Kami visited Lord Gomi to offer thanks for the previous day and to follow up once more on the matter of the certificates. However, Furui Kihei said, "Today is an inauspicious day; please come again tomorrow morning," and so the group returned.
Item: The 20th day, clear. As promised the previous day, the aforementioned individuals came out, had the certificates rewritten and returned. A messenger was then sent to both the Mori and Matsushita households informing them of the above, the receipts (azukarijō) of the seven custodians (azukarishū) were retrieved, and additionally, to the public authorities (kōgi)...
