木工允（もくのじょう）両人がお越しになり、申し渡された。
一、同日、沙汰人（さたにん）を通じて社司衆へ、神宝の件について相談をしたい旨を申し入れたところ、会合を開いて返事を申すとのことで（社司衆は）お帰りになった。
一、二十四日に会合が開かれ、惣中（そうじゅう）への返事として、「禁中のご番、あるいは故障（支障）のある者もいるため、改めて返事を申し入れる」とのことであった。
一、二十五日、曇り。五味殿が午後の刻に参詣のついでに見回りにお越しになった。参銭一貫文をお遣わしになり、惣中からはお酒を進上申し上げた。森・松下豊後・大炊頭・伊予守・新吉・両雑掌・大工ともまでお出ましになり、そこから（引き続き）下鴨へご参詣になるとのことであった。
一、二月一日、大工そのほか諸職人が、当年はこの日より初めて仕事をした。この間は材木がなかったため延引していたとのことである。
一、同八日、松森・縫殿助・図書頭・右衛門大夫、右の五人が五味殿へ罷り出て、面談をもって申したいことがあると申し入れたが、面会なく、万事手代の奉行に申し越すようにとの返事で（五人は）お帰しになった。
一、同九日、神主亭において、森・化安・主水正・右衛門佐、右の衆が相談を行い、中門の内、あるいは楼門より内の指図（設計・指示）を取りまとめ、五味殿がお越しになった際にお目にかけるとのことで、各々お引き取りになった。
一、同十日、五味殿がお越しになり、社頭（しゃとう）の衆・主水正・美作守・伊予守（が出席した）。

Two officials of the Bureau of Carpentry (Moku no Jō) came and conveyed instructions.
Item: On the same day, through an intermediary (satanin), a request was made to the shrine priests (shashi) wishing to consult them regarding the sacred treasures (shinpō). The priests replied that they would hold a meeting and then give their response, and departed.
Item: On the twenty-fourth day, a meeting was held, and the response conveyed to the entire shrine community (sōchū) was that "as there are those assigned to palace duty at the Imperial Court, or those with other impediments (koshō), a reply will be given at a later date."
Item: On the twenty-fifth day, cloudy. Lord Gomi came around to inspect during the afternoon hours, also stopping by to worship. He donated one kan of coins (sankisen), and sake was offered to him in return from the entire shrine community. Lord Mori, Lord Matsushita-Bungo, the Ōinokami, the Iyonokami, Shinkichi, both shrine administrators (zasshō), and the carpenters all came out to receive him. It was said that from there he would proceed to pay his respects at Shimogamo Shrine.
Item: On the first day of the second month, the carpenters and other various craftsmen began their work for the current year starting from this day. During the intervening period, the work had been delayed due to the lack of available timber.
Item: On the eighth day of the same month, five persons — Matsumori, the Nuinosuké, the Zushōnokami, and the Uemon-no-Tayū — went to call upon Lord Gomi, stating that they wished to speak with him directly in person. However, he refused an audience, and they were turned away with the reply that all matters should be communicated through the deputy commissioners (tedai no bugyō).
Item: On the ninth day of the same month, at the residence of the head priest (kannushi-tei), Mori, Kean, the Mozunokami, and the Uemon-no-Suke and the others present conferred together, drew up plans and instructions for the interior of the middle gate (chūmon) and within the tower gate (rōmon), and each withdrew, with the understanding that these would be presented to Lord Gomi upon his visit.
Item: On the tenth day of the same month, Lord Gomi came up. The shrine community heads (shadō-shū), the Mozunokami, the Mimasaka-no-Kami, and the Iyo-no-Kami (were in attendance).
