【朱書】これより以前のことは調べるべきこと
一、寛永四年正月十四日、神主・高久は年頭の礼のために板倉周防殿のもとへ参上した。すると周防守が高久に対し、中宮の御願により当社（賀茂社）の造営を行う旨が命じられており、奉行は五味殿が右（その職）に仰せ付けられているので、その旨を社中へ申し届けるようにとのことを仰せになった。高久はこれを承って帰宅し、同日夜、庁屋の御棚経営の座において右の通りを披露（報告）した。

Record of the Kan'ei Reconstruction and Shrine Transfer
(From the 14th day of the 1st month of Kan'ei 4 to the 25th day of the 9th month of Kan'ei 5)
[In red ink] Ujiyuki: In Kan'ei 4, aged 33, Junior Fifth Rank Lower Grade, Koto Tayū, not currently holding office.

Item: On the 14th day of the 1st month of Kan'ei 4 [1627], the shrine priest Takahisa called upon Lord Itakura Suō to pay his New Year's respects. Lord Suō (the Governor of Suō) then informed Takahisa that, by the vow of the Chūgū (the Imperial Consort), an order had been issued for the reconstruction of this shrine (Kamo Shrine), and that Lord Gomi had been appointed as the administrator (bugyō) in charge of the matter. He instructed that this should be conveyed to the members of the shrine community. Takahisa acknowledged this, returned home, and on the evening of the same day, reported these matters at the gathering at the御棚 (mitana) administration meeting in the shrine office (chōya).
