社一同（見せ消ち：拍掌→）抑え（朱書き訂正）、異口同音に歓喜した。
一、正月十九日、惣中より高久・用久・大炊頭・氏昭・長門守（朱書き訂正：玄久）、（朱書き：衆顕）、両雑掌（右衛門大夫・信濃守）の六人が板倉周防守殿のもとへ参上し、先日神主に仰せ渡された当社造営の儀について、御都合よきよう御取り成しをお願い申し上げたところ、返答には、「兎に角、中宮の御立願の旨がある以上、私の一存では如何ともしがたい」とのことであり、諸事については中宮様にお便りを通じて申し達すべき旨の返答であった。
一、同二十三日、この儀（造営）がいよいよ成就するよう、神前にて千座祓を執り行った。
一、（日付空白）中宮様と中和門院の両御所へ参上申し奉るとのことで、高久・用久・美作守の三人が礼のために罷り出た。

一、（日付空白）高久・用久・図書頭の三人が当社の絵図を持って中和院へ参上し、「絵図の通りに残らず御造営をお願い申し上げたい」と申し上げたところ、折しも女院様が中宮様のもとへ御幸があったため、「絵図をここに残し置くよう」との返答があり、絵図を預けて帰された。即日、中和門院と中宮が一処においでになった時、その絵図を御覧になったとのことである。
一、同二十八日、中和門院より美作が召し出され、女中の中臈・和泉殿を通じて、「惣造営をなされるので、安心してそのように心得るよう」とのお言葉があった。

Item: On the 19th day of the 1st month, six people from the general shrine community — Takahisa, Yoshihisa, Ōigashira (Ujishō), Nagato no Kami (corrected in red ink to: Genkyu), (in red ink: Shūken), and the two zōshō (Right Gate Lieutenant and Shinano no Kami) — called upon Lord Itakura Suō. They requested that he use his influence to bring about the favorable execution of the shrine reconstruction that had been conveyed to the head priest on the previous occasion. His reply was that since the matter stemmed from the Chūgū's (Imperial Consort's) personal vow, it was not within his discretion to alter it, and that all matters should be conveyed to Her Highness the Chūgū through appropriate channels.
Item: On the 23rd of the same month, a Senza-harae (a purification ceremony of one thousand ritual cleansings) was performed before the deity at the shrine, to pray for the successful completion of the reconstruction.
Item: [Date left blank] With the intention of paying their respects at both the residences of the Chūgū and the Chūwa Mon'in (Nakakazu Mon'in), three people — Takahisa, Yoshihisa, and Mimasaka no Kami — presented themselves for the ceremonial visit.

Item: [Date left blank] Three people — Takahisa, Yoshihisa, and Zushō no Kami — brought a plan (illustrated map) of the shrine to the Chūwa-in and requested that the reconstruction be carried out in its entirety according to the plan. At that moment, the Nyoin (the former Empress) happened to be visiting the Chūgū, and the reply was to leave the illustrated plan behind. The plan was accordingly left and they departed. On that same day, while the Chūwa Mon'in and the Chūgū were in the same place, they viewed the illustrated plan.
Item: On the 28th of the same month, Mimasaka was summoned by the Chūwa Mon'in, and through the medium-ranking lady-in-waiting (chūrō) Izumi-dono, he was conveyed the message that the complete reconstruction of the shrine would be carried out, and that he should be at ease with this knowledge.
