(Continued from previous page) — The members of the Jitte-no-shū (ten officials), the Sashizoe (assistant officers), the Sei-gon-daiku (master carpenters of senior and junior rank), and the four head carpenters (tōryō) were summoned, and a large comprehensive map (ōezu) was produced, incorporating all the measurement records (maatsumori), architectural plans (sashizu), subsidiary shrines (massha), and the four affiliated temples (yonkadera), without omission. The work was completed from the Hour of the Snake (巳刻, approximately 9–11 a.m.) until late in the Hour of the Dog (戌刻, approximately 7–9 p.m.). Yoshihisa served as the primary writer, with two or three persons assisting.
(Marginal note: The section pertaining to the Kyōsho [sutra hall] was prepared by the shrine monks and brought by two envoys — the Hyōbu-kyō and the Shōnagon — and was presented in the御局 [inner sanctuary] after being handed over to the shrine officials and clan members [ujibito].)
Item: On the 7th day of the same month, the two administrators (zassho) Takahisa and Yoshihisa, along with Mozushō, Kawachi-no-kami, and the others of the aforementioned group, took the maps prepared the previous day and proceeded to the residence of the Lord of Suō.
Item: On the 8th day of the same month, the acting administrator (zasshodai) Uemon-no-tayū and the assistant (sashizoe) Mozushō went as two envoys to Ōwada.
(Marginal note: This was because the Lady of the Imperial Palace [Nyoin] had made a visit [miyuki] to Ōwada; however, the details have not been heard clearly and should be inquired about further.)
Item: On the 9th day of the same month, the acting administrator Uemon-no-suke and the assistant Keita went as two envoys to Ōwada. On the return journey, they carried a letter from the Chūwa Mon'in to the Chūgū (the consort of the reigning emperor).

Item: On the 11th day of the same month, a consultation was held at the residence of the Kannagi (chief priest), and a resolution was passed that, with regard to all the shrine buildings and structures currently in existence, those still standing should be recorded on yellow paper, and those that had been lost or fallen into disuse (taiten) should be recorded on blue paper, and these should be presented to the magistrate (bugyō) for review.
Item: On the 12th day of the same month, the Sōkan (in red: Takahisa) and the Sei-negi (in red: Yoshihisa) called upon Lord Kanaseki, who made various inquiries about the state of the shrine's religious ceremonies (jinja shinji).
