（前頁より続き）貞永執行代・少納言忠円・治部卿の両三使として、余寒が厳しい中であったが、しばらく寒気をしのごうとして、一樽・両種（酒と肴）を持参され、御所屋にて披露があった。即刻また暴雪となったので、各々は経所の食堂に集まり、一献を終えた。この時の沙汰人は隼人佑・志摩守・木工頭であり、昨日より定められた。
一、同四日に、神主（朱書き：高久）・正祢宜（朱書き：用久）・一社頭講中の相談にて、社中の旧跡、このほか侍所・楽屋・贄殿・御倉、および大田経所などの跡を尋ね、間積りがあり、間積りの別紙に記す。
一、同五日に、近日中に五味殿が御上りになるとのことを承り、惣目録を作成すべきとのことで、神主亭において社務（朱書き：高久）・正祢宜（朱書き：用久）・指添衆・十手の衆が寄り合い、惣目録六通を調えた。そして間積りがあり、松平（朱書き：高久）・森（朱書き：用久）・宮内少輔（朱書き：保望）・大工左衛門、この四か所にてそれぞれ間積りの本があったので取り寄せて別途見合わせた。今夜は雨。

(Continued from previous page) — Sadanaga (the acting Shūgyō), Shōnagon Chūen, and the Jibu-kyō, coming as two or three envoys, brought with them a cask of sake and two kinds of food, despite the lingering bitter cold, intending to ward off the chill for a while. This was presented in the Goshoya. Almost immediately, a violent snowfall began, and everyone gathered in the refectory (jikidō) of the Kyōsho (sutra hall) and finished a round of drinks. The local administrators (satanin) at this time were Hayato-no-suke, Shima-no-kami, and Moku-no-kami; they had been appointed since the previous day.
Item: On the 4th day of the same month, the Kannagi (in red: Takahisa), the Sei-negi (in red: Yoshihisa), and the general shrine lecture assembly (ichinōsha tōkōchū) held consultations regarding the former sites within the shrine precincts, including those of the samurai quarter (侍所), the musicians' dressing room (楽屋), the food-offering hall (贄殿), the treasury (御倉), and the Ōta Kyōsho (the sutra hall of the Ōta estate), among others. Measurements (maatsumori) were taken and are recorded on a separate sheet attached hereto.
Item: On the 5th day of the same month, having learned that Lord Gomi was expected to visit in the near future, it was decided that a general inventory (sō-mokuroku) should be compiled. Accordingly, a gathering was held at the residence of the Kannagi, attended by the Shaму (in red: Takahisa), the Sei-negi (in red: Yoshihisa), the Sashizoe-shū (assistant members), and the Jitte-no-shū (a group of ten officials), where six copies of the general inventory were prepared. Measurement records (maatsumori) also existed, and those in the custody of Matsudaira (in red: Takahisa), Mori (in red: Yoshihisa), Kunai-no-shō (in red: Yasumochi), and Daiku Saemon — these four parties — were sent for and separately compared. Item: On the 6th day of the same month, cloudy; early in the morning, Lord Gomi Kanaseki arrived, and the members of the entire shrine community, together with all the various functionaries, came out to receive him (marginal note: shrine officials in hunting robes [kariginu] and hakama; clan members [ujibito] in purified robes [jōe]; various craftsmen in formal caps [eboshi] and formal upper-and-lower garments [kamishimo]). An order was issued to prepare a comprehensive construction plan (sō-sashizu) as a separate document.
